Chicken salad recipe

This recipe is one of my favorite ones, on top of it it’s also very easy to follow and it’s nutrient complete.

3 salad’s tostadas on top of a white dish. The salad has a mixed texture and colorful white-ish aspect due to the chopped vegetables and the creme.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Chicken breast
  • 1/2 White onion
  • 2 Chayotes
  • 2 Potatoes
  • 3 Carrots
  • 1 Lettuce Heart
  • Creme
  • Table salt
  • Tostadas

Procedure

Chop the chayote, potato and carrots into small cubes (around 1/4 of an inch) and cook them by steam, once cooked, let them cool down.

Cook the chicken breast with the white onion, and pull it (so it’s pulled chicken breast).

Chop the lettuce heart.

Mix the pulled chicken breast, the vegetables and the lettuce. Add cream and table salt.

Serve in tostadas or in a dish so you can use the tostada to pickup as you eat it.
